Files not syncing after upgrade
Hello,
I recently upgraded the Zotero storage so I can access files accross different devices, but my old files are not uploading to the web library - they show as links only on the web library but the pdf shows normally in my desktop app. Using Zotero connector downloads files well and uploads them to both the desktop app and web library with no issue (it's the old files pre upgrade that are not uploading).
Things I've tried based on other posts on the forum:
1) Rebooting web browser, desktop app and computer;
2) Preferences > File Syncing checked using Zotero and other suggestions here https://www.zotero.org/support/sync#alternative_syncing_solutions
3) Syncing has completed, it's the right account, and Preferences > Sync > Data Syncing > Choose Libraries has all libraries checked https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/changes_not_syncing
4) Run a Debug ID D731311854, which output reads [JavaScript Error: "Error connecting to server. Check your Internet connection."]
5) I am using eduroam (as that gives me access to most papers) - could this be the issue? Although this issue remained at home where I have my own connection (although often use a VPN) (not at home right now, so cannot submit a Debug ID there), and of course new papers download well as mentioned above.
6) I read this: https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/connection_error. but selecting Preferences > Advanced > Config Editor gives a warning "This might void your warranty. Changing these advanced settings can be harmful to the stability, security, and performance of this application." And I wanted to check before playing around with these. Do you think "network.proxy.type = 5, to use the system proxy settings" will fix the issue?
Any other insights are welcome!
Thank you for your help.

I'd checked that one as well but stopped at point 4, where sync took place with no issues and the attachment was not available in the web library.
Did point 5 with Preferences > Sync > Reset, check Reset File Sync History > Reset, (gives warning "The file sync history for “My Library” has been cleared." ) > OK. Then clicked on the sync bottom again. This gave a sync error the first time, took over an hour on the second attempt, but synced around 2/3 of my library. Did the process again and it feels like more files uploaded but still not the full libary. Repeated the process a few times, but my library is still not fully available online. I'll keep resetting and syncing and hopefully it will work eventually.
Thank you for your time
