Convenience Idea: Quick search within Collection vs globally
Hey,
Often times I find myself searching for an Item. Then I notice I'm in a Collection and the paper wasn't there. I have to go back and select My Library. I loose the original Collection context.
Perhaps next to quick search text box could be a checkbox to opt out or in to search within Collection or globally. Compare also to the small search and replace window in Visual Studio Code, where a few options are intuitively available [case sensitivity, query replace vs replace all].
Thanks again,
Janne

I use Thunderbird for my email and if it wasn't for sticky search I would waste so much time:

The pin on the left makes the search sticky - when the focus changes to another mailbox (in Zotero a collection) , the search item is retained and automatically repeated in the newly focused item.
