Word cannot communicate with Zotero after update

Hi, I updated Zotero yesterday and since then I get the "Word could not communicate with Zotero" error every time I try to add citations in Word. The Zotero toolbar is still present and I have Zotero running. I've tried restarting my laptop and opening new word docs but the error keeps happening. If I re-install the plugin will I lose all my citations from my current document?

Also, when I go to Help -> Add-ons the page is blank.

Please see my question in the original post- will reinstalling the plugin cause me to lose citations from my current document?

No, of course not — we wouldn't have troubleshooting steps that would cause you to lose data.
