rename file from parent metadata-- not functioning. (Zotero 7 Beta)

Previously, I could click on an imported pdf (usualy with a generic name , like "Full Text") and then the "rename file from parent metadata" option would rename it based on the author , year , article name, etc. (McKinnon et al. - 2023 - Force Multiplier A Critical Reflection on Developing a Public Archaeology Veterans Program in Under)

But now it will not change the name within the Zotero app.. but if you click and drag the pdf to the desktop, it will be a file with the desired article specific name.

Are you talking about Zotero 7 beta? If so, please edit the title. Quoting the official announcement:

Please start new threads for any problems you encounter in the beta, and be sure to put "Zotero 7 Beta" in the thread title.

The behavior has been changed. See this comment.
