Add Citation Troubleshooting

In attempting to add citations to a document today, I ran into an issue wherein the citation dialogue box will only pull references in a Shared Library, but will not generate any sources from My Library. How to fix?

    Are you using the normal citation dialog, or the classic view? Can you explain step by step what you're doing, seeing and what happens?

    I use the Microsoft Word plug-in, using the insert note button from the header menu in word that one accesses by clicking “Zotero.” After I click “Insert Note”, the search bar to find the source/citation appears, but it only allows me to search for sources that I have in one particular shared library.

    I have updated my operating system (Mac), uninstalled and reinstalled Zotero, and updated Microsoft Word. All Libraries are selected in settings, etc.

    To add a citation, you need to use the "Add/Edit Citation" button. It will bring a red dialog window. The "Add Note" button is to add a note and brings a yellow dialog window. What color do you see?
