Upgrade StorageBuilt-In Notes Compared to Better Notes Plugin

I know that the latest version of Zotero has its own notes feature. Has Anyone been using the BetterNotes plugin for a while, and compared it to the most recent version of Zotero's own note-taking features?
How did they stack up?
Here's my thinking, it seems that the BetterNotes plugin has a bit of a learning curve.
Given that Zotero itself seems to have really added a lot in terms of note-taking features, are the advantages of better notes that much greater so that it's worth it?
