Connector saving links to PDFs directory instead of files within Zotero

Hi. Sorry. For years I used Zotero Connector in the Brave browser to save pdf's to locally stored Zotero items in my Zotero directory. Now it started putting links in those Zotero items instead. The links point to pdf's stored in /Documents/PDFs. I don't want this as it screws up my whole system of working, involving sync-ing to my other machines. I can't find any help online on this topic, or any Zotero Option to fix it. Of course I can save the pdf and then load it into Zotero manually, but that defeats the whole purpose of Zotero Connector which made this a 1-click convenience.

That's from some plugin you installed and set up. Zotero doesn't do this.
