I have a problem with Zotero in that it does not add new citations both in the text as well as the biography. When I click on Add/Edit button to try to insert a new citation, it says "you should place your cursor in Zotero citation in order to edit it. I don't know what that means yet I have urgent work to do. Please help,

Does this happen in a new, empty document?
