How to add date to end of short notes in Chicago Manual of Style 17th edition?

Hi,

Could anyone tell me how I can add the date in rounded brackets to the end of the short note of Chicago Manual of Style 17th edition? Here is the code:https://pastebin.com/kaBhqJNx

The original style is Chicago Manual of Style 17th edition (full note, short title subsequent).
Full note: Mishra, C., et al., “Increasing Risks for Emerging Infectious Diseases within a Rapidly Changing High Asia,” Ambio 51, no. 3 (March 1, 2022): 494–507, https://doi.org/10.1007/s13280-021-01599-7.
How the short note currently looks like: Mishra et al., “Increasing Risks for Emerging Infectious Diseases within a Rapidly Changing High Asia.”
How I want the short note to look like: Mishra et al., “Increasing Risks for Emerging Infectious Diseases within a Rapidly Changing High Asia,” (2022).
