Word count IN Zotero?

With the advances of Zotero's note-taking and writing functions, especially through BetterNotes, I find myself wishing I could get a word count on standalone notes where I'm writing initial drafts. Does anyone know of such a capability? Macro maybe? Or might someone be able to create this functionality through a plug-in?

Am I the only one who wants to count their words without having to leave the interface and c/p to another program?

Ooooh, this looks interesting! I tried installing (I’m on 6, so used the alternative branch .xpi file) but get an error that it can’t be installed because it may be incompatible with my Zotero version. Not sure how to proceed, since it’s the version 6 file I tried to add. Thoughts?
