How to make new item by using full bib reference

I can make new items in my library by using DOI etc. It works well. I have a paper that has no doi (old paper). But I found on the internet the full reference in Bibtex style. Is it possible to make a new item using this reference in Bibtex style? For new items in Zotero, I must put all the info step by step. I tried to add this reference in the bib file (keep updated) but it does not appear in Zotero.

    You can just import bibtex (either as a file or from the clipboard). That's in the File menu.
    (the bib file is from BBT and keeps it updated *from* Zotero not *to* Zotero)

    Ah, yes, thank you. But how can I change the citation key to my default?

    That's a BBT questions (Zotero doesn't import citation keys) but I believe there's a command in BBT to recreate a citation key based on metadata

    Yes, that's right. There is "Unpin BibTeX key". It changes to default.
