Unsure why Mac application is lagging

It was working fine when I first started using it, but as I began to add more sources onto i, it has gotten progressively slower. I have the free storage, if I upgrade, will this stop the lagging? Everything still works fine, just takes a few seconds for it to register a click or typing.

    Do you mean the Zotero desktop application or your Word processor where you are citing? Can you submit a Report ID? Either way, upgrading the storage plan is not related and won't help.
