Sorting by Publication Date?

Hi there:
I have found zotero to be a very useful tool for my dissertation in history. However, my work requires me to sort large numbers of publications by publication date. In March, I posted a query about the option to sort by publication date in the middle column, and Dan Stillman wrote me that this sorting option would be available in the next beta version. Since my bibliography is growing, I was wondering: has that beta version been launched yet?

    Yes, a good while ago. Make sure you have the latest version of Zotero from zotero.org, 1.0.0b4.r5, and you can choose Date or Year (or other fields) by clicking the right-most icon in the header of the center list view.
