    That's usually caused by some misbehaving plugin. Hold down Shift (Windows) or Option (Mac) to launch Zotero in Safe Mode with all plugins disabled. You can then try disabling or uninstalling all plugins and re-enabling them one by one to determine if one is causing this problem.
