Chicago author-date 17th not correct in German
The German setting of Chicago 17th edition does not eliminate the comma before "und", when several authors are listed. This is gramatically wrong in German, there is never a comma before "und" in a listing.
Is there a correct version of Chicago 17th in German which I have missed? 16th edition is different in several respects.

adamsmithYeah, the contextual commas don't localize, so we can't fix that in the existing style, sorry.

bwiernik@adamsmith Do you think that’s something that we ought to move into locales in a future larger update to CSL?

adamsmithYes, don't we already have this for 1.1? We definitely should, both the & vs. and and the contextual comma come up a ton.
