Creating a Bibliography on iOS version

I just downloaded the iOS Zotero app, and so far I haven’t been able to create a bibliography or any citations. I’ve tried with a few different PDF files I have uploaded, and each time I get the message “Invalid Item Types Selected”.

    You need to select actual bibliographic items to generate a bibliography — you can't generate a bibliography from PDF attachment items.

    The iOS app doesn't currently perform PDF metadata retrieval, so you'd have to save to the app from the article page (which is always recommended), add by identifier (e.g., DOI) and add the attachment to the created item, run Retrieve Metadata for PDF from the desktop app, or create a parent item manually (which very much isn't recommended).
