My zotero is loading for a long time

Several days ago, I imported lots of bibliographical index, resulting my zotero being unable to run.Thus, yesterday I deleted them, but my zotero now still can not run well and is still loading.

How many items did you import?

Unless you deleted them all locally and emptied the trash, the items would still be in the database.
