iPad Extension not working

Hello- I have an iPad, downloaded Zotero, however I cannot access the app or see the app in chrome or safari to add in the extension? I’ve read the instructions several times and nothing. Can some please assist me. Thanks
  • I'm a little confused -- Zotero is a standard iOS app. Have you installed it from the app store? If so, what happens if you try to open it?
  • I have the same issue. The app is installed. Zotero’s webpage says that the safari extension will install itself automatically alongside the app, but I don’t have the extension and can’t find it in the safari settings.

@Meheyaca: If you're talking about iOS, which this thread is about, you save to the Zotero app from the share sheet in the browser. It's not a Safari extension.

If you're talking about a Mac, please start a new thread and say what macOS version you're running.
  • Thanks, but when I do it like that, the article is saved with 0 metadata (no title, author, etc.) which means everything has to be filled in manually. Is that how it works on ipad ?

No, it should work basically the same as the Zotero Connector on the desktop. But please start a new thread and describe exactly what you're doing, including an example URL, and what's happening.
  • Hello- I have the same issue, specific to an iPad. I have the downloaded Zotero, app. However, I cannot access the extension for Zotero Connector in Safari. Zotero’s webpage says that the safari extension will install itself automatically alongside the app, and to ‘activate’ it from Settings / Safari / Extensions. But I can’t find it in the safari settings. It’s not listed as extension and I have been unable to add it. Suggestions.

@Kwzavaleta: As I say above, you save to the Zotero iOS app from the share sheet in the browser. It's not a Safari extension on iOS.
