OOo plugin fails to insert "chap." prefix when using multiple citations in Chicago note with Bibl.

Hi,

I am using:

  • Zotero 2.0rc1
  • Zotero OpenOffice Integration 3.0a6
  • Firefox 3.6
  • OpenOffice.org 3.1.1
  • Mac OS X 10.5.8
Whenever I insert multiple citations using the Chicago style with notes and bibliography and one (or more) of these citations does not refer to pages, but chapters, sections etc. the OOo plugin fails to prefix that reference with the correct abbreviation ("chap.", "sec." etc.), e.g.:

Is: Brandom, Articulating Reasons, 6; Fodor and Lepore, “Brandom’s Burdens.”

Should be: Brandom, Articulating Reasons, chap. 6; Fodor and Lepore, “Brandom’s Burdens.”

Any help would be appreciated.

    there is an extensive discussion on this somewhere - I believe it's in the thread on the MHRC style - I don't think this was ever solved, but maybe there's something helpful there.
