Continuous issues with zotero and mac

hi, im a law and science uni student and have been using zotero for the past 2 years. the past 6 weeks it will not work, i have tried everything (uninstalling zotero, uninstalling word, updating laptop, updating word, making sure everything is enabled), ive read so many discussion pages and done everything thats been reccomended but nothing works. i am nearing the end of the semester where all my big papers are due and really need zotero.

I can add one citation into word but as soon as i add a second, zotero crashes and closes and it is a nightmare.

I have the full report but i cant add it into this as it is too big, please help im desperate, thank you to anyone who can help.

You're having constant issues because you installed a beta version of macOS.

If you had posted here earlier, we would've told you immediately that you had to be running the Zotero 7 beta for Sonoma compatibility. We've now released Zotero 6.0.27, which adds Sonoma compatibility, so you can update to that.

But just to be clear, you should never install a beta OS version on the computer where you're trying to do real work, so you should switch back to the release version of Sonoma when it comes out and stay on the release track on your main work computer.

(Your laptop is also not "up to date", as you said in your email. You're running an early beta of Sonoma from July.)
