Zotero 7 Beta - import annotations file size
Hi there.
I'm noticing something odd on Zotero 7 Beta -- but this may have been an issue with previous versions and I just didn't notice.
(7.0.0-beta.39+ecba25be0)
I add a file, with standard highlights to Zotero (4.8mb), and 'Import Annotations' so the annotations are editable in the Zotero PDF reader, and the file blows up in size to (21.2mb).
Any ideas why?
Right now, to avoid quadrupling my storage, my process is
1. Add compressed PDF file to Zotero
2. 'Import Annotations'
3. Back to library, show file in storage (Finder)
4. Reopen with Adobe Acrobat Pro Dc
5. Compress file (again)
Is there a better way?
