Upgrade Storagezotero dropbox sync weird behaviour
Just an observation:
I am using zotero on my winXP box with the zotero data folder inside the dropbox residing on my C drive. Yesterday i tried the following:installed dropbox portable on a usb stick and synchronized the zotero data folder after closing firefox - so i got same folder structure on the usb as on my C drive. When i went to work i pointed the work zotero data location to the dropbox on the USB stick. i run firefox at work and Instead of getting my whole zotero references i got partial data (random folders etc). I had to manually sync with zotero servers to get my data structure back.
My question to the forum is:
have you noticed this behavior before? why it did not work in the first place?
do you think this will eventually lead to conflicts?
