How can I "mirror" My Library and Group Library on a topic (personal pdf and group abstract version)

I am the moderator for a group library and have my personal version in My Library that contains all the pdfs. The group library can only have the abstracts - presumably due to copyright concerns. I therefore need to "Mirror" the group library and "My library" versions as I store the pdfs in "my library" but share the citations/abstracts in the Group library. Also, others update the group library and I would like to automatically capture the abstracts in "My Library" and search for the pdfs on an as need to read basis. Any thoughts? I am starting a large project and need to get off to a good start!

There's long been talk of improving this, but currently there's no great way of doing this, I'm afraid. I guess the best way would be to always save to My Library and then drag over to the group, but that won't quite work if others are adding to the group.

(note that you can have PDFs in a group library as long as its not public and open membership).
