Zotero 6 Certificate Error Issue on Windows with NAS WebDAV Sync (Report ID: 830296862)

I am reporting an issue with Zotero 6 on Windows when using HTTPS to sync my library with a WebDAV service on my personal NAS. The error message says "uses an invalid security certificate," and I'm using a certificate issued by DigiCert Inc.

Here's what I've tried:

1. When I access the same WebDAV service with Chrome or Firefox on Windows, they don't report a certificate problem, and they can read the certificate information.

2. When I use Zotero on my iPad on the same network to sync attachments, it works and can get the attachments from the WebDAV service.

3. Installing Zotero 7 on the same computer, it can directly read Zotero 6's server settings and retrieve attachments without any issues.

4. Uninstalling Zotero 7 and reinstalling Zotero 6 causes it to fail again with the same "uses an invalid security certificate" error.

So, it seems like this issue is specific to Zotero 6 on Windows.

I've uploaded a report with the server domain name I'm using, which you can access (IPv6 only) for further investigation.

Any assistance or guidance on resolving this problem would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

    [JavaScript Error: "[…] uses an invalid security certificate.

    The certificate is not trusted because the issuer certificate is unknown.
    The server might not be sending the appropriate intermediate certificates.
    An additional root certificate may need to be imported.
    Your server might not be sending the appropriate intermediate certificate, as explained on Incomplete Cert Chain, but I can't tell you for sure since your server isn't accessible by the SSL Labs test.

    Beyond that, you'll need to use Zotero 7.
  • When I access my website, the certificate chain displayed in Chrome looks like this:

    ->DigiCert Global Root G2
    -->Encryption Everywhere DV TLS CA - G2
    ---->My domain's certificate

    I suspect that the problem may be related to "DigiCert Global Root G2" since my hosting provider started using it to issue new certificates last month.
