zotero won't open

my zotero app won't open. It stays on dock but does not open. Have tried to work from word but it says that I should open the app. I am using Mac - Mojave
Any ideas?

Restart your computer, and if you're still having trouble delete Zotero from Applications and reinstall it from the download page.
