UX question
Hello! I am fairly new to Zotero, and I am working on a project that required a bunch of editing that I sloppily added in-text references to (without Zotero). I am going back and cleaning things up, getting original references into Zotero for those that were missing in my haste, and adding them as endnotes in Chicago.
The problem is that every time I insert a citation in the text, I am redirected to the endnote at the end of the document. So, if I add a citation to page 1, I am sent to page 23 and have to scroll back up to page 1 to add another new citation, which again goes to page 23, ad nauseam. I am editing and refining as I go, so it's pretty disruptive to lose my place in the running text. I don't need to check that the end note is correct at this stage; I just want to get them in there. Is there any way to change the settings so that I can work through the document without the constant scrolling? Thanks a ton!
