I cannot highlight the text anymore.

The edit tool was missing and I could not highlight the text anymore after I highlighted the text once.

    If you want to highlight a portion of the text that already has annotations on it, you can press Shift before clicking to recover the text selection tool.
    I am not sure if that was your question?
