Ovid error: NS_ERROR_ILLEGAL_VALUE

Hello everyone

I have some issues with the Ovid translator.
I am using Zotero 1.0.10, Firefox 3.5.7 (in German) on Windows XP. All translators are up to date, as is my Java library.

The Problem:
When trying to import items from OvidSP, I get the message "Article could not be saved" ("Artikel konnte nicht gespeichert werden" in German).
Translator: Ovid (ID: cde4428-5434-437f-9cd9-2281d14dbf9)
Zotero Scaffold Produces the following error message (when running the Code):

*****************************************************************************************************
22:17:35 Translation using Ovid failed:
QueryInterface => function QueryInterface() {
[native code]
}
message => Component returned failure code: 0x80070057 (NS_ERROR_ILLEGAL_VALUE) [nsIXMLHttpRequest.setRequestHeader]
result => 2147942487
name => NS_ERROR_ILLEGAL_VALUE
filename => chrome://zotero/content/xpcom/utilities.js
lineNumber => 727
columnNumber => 0
initialize => function initialize() {
[native code]
}
url => http://ovidsp.tx.ovid.com/sp-2.3/ovidweb.cgi
downloadAssociatedFiles => false
automaticSnapshots => true
*****************************************************************************************************

Note: the "detect code" in Scaffold works fine.

The problem occurs no matter whether I run ovidSP in English or in German.

An example of an article I tried to import:

So far, Ovid is the only translator that caused these problems.
Is anyone else having these problems? Is there any solution/workaround?
  • I've pushed an updated Ovid translator that should fix this. Your copy of Zotero should auto-update within 24 hours, or you can update manually by clicking Update Now in the General pane of the Zotero prefs. Let us know if you have further trouble.
  • Awesome, mindblowing, unbelievable... wow...

    Works fine now.

    Thank you!!
