Make first names as initials in Chicago Manual of Style 17th edition (full note, with Ibid.)
I would like to change Chicago Manual of Style 17th edition (full note, with Ibid.) so that it portrays the first names only as initials, as in:
instead of: Joshua Rubenstein, Leon Trotsky: A Revolutionary’s Life, Jewish Lives (New Haven: Yale University Press, 2011), 5–6, https://doi.org/10.12987/9780300178418.
it would show:
J. Rubenstein, Leon Trotsky: A Revolutionary’s Life, Jewish Lives (New Haven: Yale University Press, 2011), 5–6, https://doi.org/10.12987/9780300178418.
How do I change the code for that?
