Proxy showing in URL - how to stop this?
I am at the University of Manchester in the UK. I have been using Zotero for years but until now never used the proxy function. I have the proxy system working OK to a certain extent but I am at a loss of how to stop URLs being saved in an items URL field without the proxy part of the address. I have searched the forum and some suggest that this is not the default method of URL storage. How do I achieve straight URLs with no proxy? I just can't work it out. I'd be glad of any help you can give me.
Because it definitely shouldn't save to the URL field (since the URL is for inclusion in citations, which obviously shouldn't have your proxy) -- could you give a couple of examples of URLs with proxy as you see them in the URL field, including the date added for those items?
Here is one bibliography entry:

It doesn't happen all of the time, just occasionally.
Could you
a) let us know which browser you're using
b) let us know the settings you have in the Proxy tab of the Connector Preferences
c) Provide a debug ID from your connector (https://www.zotero.org/support/debug_output ) for saving the Kothari item from a PubMedCentral (making sure the site is proxied when you're saving)
a) Chrome version 115.0.5790.111 (64bit)
b) 1st 3 boxes ticked
c) I tried saving that article in a different folder and it worked fine so I can't debug it as it works now.
So far I noticed this happening consistently with University of Chicago Press (for example https://www.journals.uchicago.edu/doi/10.1086/722985) and Informs (https://pubsonline.informs.org/doi/10.1287/mnsc.2022.4545), both using Atypon translator. It does not happen with Sciencedirect (Elsevier).
I am using Firefox 116 (64 bit) on macOS and Ubuntu. Proxy redirection is disabled (although some proxies have been configured). Here is a debug ID: D1980470321.
