Not exporting new citations

Hello,

I am trying to export a new BibTex Zotero Library file, and it is not including any articles I've added to my library in the last week. I've tried several times restarting Zotero, my computer, etc. and the latest exported library always excludes citations I added within the last week (and everything is synced). Any help appreciated - thanks!
  • Is this the normal Zotero BibTeX export, or a Better BibTeX export? If the latter, please report on https://github.com/retorquere/zotero-better-bibtex/issues
  • it is the normal Zotero BibTex
  • How exactly are you generating the export?

Can you provide a Debug ID for doing so?

How are you determining that it doesn't include things?
  • I am going to Export Library--Bibtex. I know it is not working because for articles in my library I added in the last week, they are not in the .bib file when I search. This is particularly strange because last month I exported my library a few times for a paper and this was never an issue with new articles.

Here is the debug ID: D872207601
  • What happens if you try to export one of the missing items individually? Can you provide a Debug ID for doing so?
  • ID: D902637621. It seems to work well on one item. I am importing these .bib files into Overleaf to use for citations, if that is also helpful info. Thank you!
  • That item appears to have been exported in your library export as well.

Just to be clear, are you actually opening the .bib file in a text editor and searching there, or are you searching in Overleaf after importing the file?
  • I've been doing both and just realized - it is there in the text editor and not in overleaf when I just move the file over there. So maybe it is more of an overleaf issue interfacing with the .bib file? Do you know why the citations would be present in a text editor but not in the same file opened in overleaf?
  • Yes, this would be an Overleaf issue. You'd have to ask them.

And they're not present "in a text editor" — they're in the .bib file that Zotero exported. Overleaf obviously just isn't importing them properly.
