Beta: Updates fail to be detected

Using the Zotero desktop app on Mac OS 13.4.1(c) with 7 beta24. All plugins disabled.
Since ~beta17, automated or manual update checks fail to be detected. I can download and manually install without issue. All functionality seems to work fine, including data or attachment retrieval.

    It's probably not failing to detect them — they're just already installed. If you restart, you'll have the new version.

    We're working to fix the update dialog to show when an update has already been downloaded.

    I have had such issue before (reported here), so I made sure to restart a few times to check that it did not actually update.

    However, I just got the beta.26 update after manually checking, so this may not be an issue anymore.
