Bibliography and citations dont have the selected citation style applied in the word document.

Hello fellow zotero community

Im running zotero (with the latest update) with my word document and chose biological conservation for citation of my thesis, same as my co-students. But somehow the format of my citation and the biblography doesnt apply when i cite in word. i have checked in settings all the different ways and i dont have anything else checked or edited since installing it.
When i add a citation, it gets an dashed underline (which is not big of an issue since i can change that easily) but its still different than before when i used biological conservation.
And the bibliography should be formated so that the main author is in front, while the rest of the information from the citation is shifted one tabulator to the right like this:

Mr.Testman, something something something
the rest of information, and date for the end
MrSecondtestman something something something
the rest of information, and date for the end

But when i add the bibliography now, it is all in block format (grouped style) and there is no seperation to the next citation.

i have heard that some literature can corrupt/screw with the citation method, but i cant find out which one, if that is the case. Or maybe word interferes with the format which wouldnt make sense to me.

If any case, would be nice to hear some ideas from you. Maybe you can save me some time instead of formatting all of my citations in the bibliography one by one.

Kind regards

Silvan
  • correction for what it should look like: (without the dots)
    Mr.Testman, something something something
.....................the rest of information, and date for the end*
    Mr.Testman, something something something
.....................the rest of information, and date for the end*
  • Switch to a different style and back
