Beta 7 : Cursor focus after highlight?

I'm not sure that I'm describing this correctly, but after selecting text in the pdf reader and then highlighting it, the cursor (or whatever it's called) requires the user to touch the page with the mouse in order to use the keyboard arrow keys (arrows, or spacebar). It would help a lot if the keys worked without having to use the mouse first.
