Drag and drop: citation-link lost from note to word
Hi,
I usually drag and drop a quote from a pdf file saved in Zotero into a note, or turn my annotations into notes. The citation-link appears in the right format: (Doe et al., 2023).
Then, if I drag and drop the whole quote from my note to MS word or Google docs, the citation-link is lost, meaning it is turned into plain text. Indeed, if I generate the bibliography, Zotero tells me that there is no citation in my word document.
I would get the same result if I dragged-and-dropped directly from pdf to word.
Is there a way to keep the citation-link in word? A key I need to press, a setting I have not seen?
Recreating the citation-link in Word is such a waste of time considering it is already in Zotero.
Thanks for your help!
