Collecting small bibliographies to single large one
Zotero 6.latest and LO Writer 7.4 .odt documents
I like to pick up few points raised in discussion "One bibliography for multiple word docs?"

Statement given by damnation "You could also have all your paperd cited in a collection and then create a bibliography via right click and paste it where you need it."
Questions: That's not the Reference Extractor approach, right?
How to pack all papers cited to one collection in Zotero library?
----
dstilman quoted: "you would need to .. run it on each chapter individually and drag the items into a single collection in Zotero (which seems like more work)".
Questions: How will proceeding in this case look like? First run Reference Extracter on each chapter individually, then dragging the items into a single collection in Zotero ?
I don't understand why the use of RE requires all cited papers to be placed to one collection.

Abstracting from approaches presented in that discussion following idea pops up, however unclear how feasibility of it will look like.
A small series of documents. Each includes some partial text of one whole text. Text parts will be merged to the whole in separate document. Lets create in each part-document the bibliography appropriate for given part-document. Merge all partial bibliographies to one single whole in dedicated document, make this merge by means external to Zotero. Author understands that merged bibliography in dedicated document doesn't undergo Zotero control.
If citation style with source numbering, e.g. in brackets is used, every part-document (except for first one) needs to have numbering start digits controlled manually - in order for final bibliography to have continues numbering.

damnationIn theory you can just merge those documents and add a bibliography there. Try it out.
