Upgrade StorageciNii translator (still) not working

I made a post on this bug (?) several months ago, but it's still not working for me.
I've tried on several different computers, but I have never managed to grab a CiNii (http://ci.nii.ac.jp/) entry (standard "could not save item" error). Perhaps the translator needs to be updated?
The error occurs both with the Japanese and the English version of the search input/output interface.
With CiNii being one of the largest public Japanese academic databases,It would be immensely helpful for us Japanese studies people.
