Prompt not appearing on "Add/Edit Citation" in Google Docs

I recently started using Zotero and I linked it to my Google Docs on my Mac so that it appears in the toolbar. However, when I click "Add/Edit Citation," or any command in the Zotero box, it simply takes me back to the app and no dialog appears for me to choose a citation style/document. I tried shift dragging the files in, but they didn't save in my bibliography, so there isn't much point in doing so. I also tried to do it in Microsoft Word, but got the same issue. Does anyone know what my issue might be?

    Most likely the citation dialog is appearing behind your other windows. Restart Zotero and your browser and try again, and if you don't see the dialog check behind the Zotero window — the citation dialog is part of the Zotero app.

    The issue was exactly as you said. Restarting Zotero brought it back to the front. Thank you!
