On invalid pdf attachments

I found many invalid attachments that can not be updated with "Find Avaliable PDF" directly. It is very inconvinient as we should remove those invalid attachments first, then we can update those attachments. It is better to provide "Find Avaliable PDF" option in the pop-up menu for those item with invalid attachment.

    What do you mean by "invalid attachments"? In normal usage, you would never have broken attachments of any kind in Zotero, so that's not a thing we would design a feature around. "Find Available PDF" can be run on one or more items, and it can't just keep adding additional child PDFs, nor can it assume that a PDF that's not available locally (if that's even what you mean by "invalid attachments" is permanently unavailable. So it only runs on items without PDFs.

    The invalid attachments means the grayed pdf items. Since my storage is used out, some attachments may not synced between multiple devices. It might be this problem.

    Right, so then those are perfectly valid attachments for which the files just don't currently exist on this computer. It wouldn't make any sense for Zotero to create duplicate attachments, and it can't swap in a potentially totally different file to the same attachment.
