Trouble with using Zotero with Google docs

I am currently using Google docs in a file, however, Zotero stopped working with prompts appearing stating the ff:

Error: An API change has caused this script to stop working.
Section #8 of type UNSUPPORTED has no .getParagraphs() method. Stopping script.
at Code:848 (iterateSection)
at Code:954 (iterateSections)
at Code:844 (getAllLinks)
at Code:647
at Code:75 (callMethod)

I tried all of the instruction in troubleshooting for Google docs but nothing seemed to work. However, in a new Google document I can use Zotero.

  • See Troubleshooting Errors in Word Processor Documents, particularly the last step. We would be very interested in a document snippet that reproduces this issue, so please send one to support@zotero.org with a link to this thread if you manage to isolate it.
  • Was able to do all steps especially the last step. I tried to delete the bibliography and citations one by one. Then ended up deleting all of the text in my document and still the error occurred but instead of the "Error: An API change has caused this script to stop working..." the prompt was "Zotero experienced an error updating your document." But in a new document the Zotero Connector seems to be working.

Could you produce the smallest snippet of a document that still produces the "An API change has caused this script to stop working" error and send it to support@zotero.org?

EDIT: Oh, you already did. We'll take a look.
  • @mlrsc we've deployed a fix. See if it works now.
  • The same problem here. What should I do?
