cannot edit or preview mAb style

I am using google docs and am trying to insert a citation, but needed a new style i did not have. I searched for the mAb style in the repository and imported it with the "+" button. It did not show up in the list of styles I have until I opened Word, and then did the import of the style from the repository.
But then when I select a reference and ask for a preview, the mAbs style does not show up, and it does not show up as a choice to edit either. What am I doing wrong please? and how do I get to the style manager without doing the trick of pretending to add a citation and then the style manager shows up? I am on a mac and have the web Zotero and the desktop Zotero, and they sync.

mAbs is a dependent style. You can just use http://www.zotero.org/styles/landes-bioscience-journals and that will also be editable.

What journal are you trying to publish in though?

The Landes Bioscience journals were acquired by Taylor & Francis in 2014.

I guess since then they consolidated their citation styles. It looks like the mAbs journal just uses one of the Taylor & Francis numeric styles we have: https://www.zotero.org/styles?q=id:taylor-and-francis-council-of-science-editors-numeric&format=numeric
