Convert linked attachments to stored copies and keep highlights and annotations
Hey,
I have recently upgraded storage and several entries that previously just used linked pdf attachments I would like to use stored copies now so I can sync it between devices.
I have found the option Tool -> manage attachments -> convert linked files to copies
But when I press that on either device absolutely nothing happens. It doesnt even seem to aknowledge the click
When I go to the attachments in question ans select "show file" then I get takes to a location in the zotero storage. But online in the web library for these entries there is a link symbol next to it.
Thats why I gathered apparently they count as linked attachments even though they are in the zotero storage folder.
Another thing supporting that theory is that on my other devices these files are not in the zotero storage folder; the subfolder exists but there is no PDF inside
I have a feeling there is some bug

adamsmithAre you sure you have synced successfully since converting the files to stored files? If they *don't* show with a chain/link icon in the Desktop app, they're definitely stored files (as the fact that show file opens within Zotero/storage suggests).
