How to: Disable automatic opening of links in pdf files when clicking on them
It is a useful security feature of pdf viewers to at least ask before opening a link embedded into a pdf file in the browser as it is easy to trick users into opening malicious links.
Is there a setting to:
- add a popup before opening a link?
- completely disable opening of links?
- change the default program used to open links (to /bin/true, a hardened browser, ...)? (I don't what to change the system wide default.)
I played around with some settings but couldn't find one that does those things. Would appreciate someone with some more experience to help out, or if it is not currently possible, the addition of those settings.
