Is there a simpler way to highlight a paragraph of text or change certain font colors in your notes?

To highlight a paragraph of text or change the color of a certain font in a note, you need to do so by selecting the text, selecting the workspace icon, and selecting the color. Can you make this step similar to the markup syntax by entering specific markers to change the color or highlight the font, such as highlighted?

Or add other simpler methods?

There are two highlighting modes. If you want to lock it on, just click the highlight button in the toolbar and choose a color, and then every selection you make will create a highlight of that color.
