Upgrade StorageFields Missing under Document Preferences
in the Document Preferences Menu I do not have the fields:
Display Citations as:
Footnotes
Endnotes
This field is completely missing
Display Citations as:

This field is completely missing
Those fields only exist for styles intended for footnotes. damnation linked you to the full list of such styles in your other thread: https://www.zotero.org/styles?format=note&dependent=0
With any of those styles, you'll have the footnote/endnote option. I mentioned a couple of styles that would fit the basic description of what you want in that thread, they're in that list, too.
