What about a new Zotero Q&A Community on Codidact?

[Codidact](https://codidact.org/) is a non-profit, open source Q&A site (relatively similar to Stack Exchange in design) .

What about creating a Zotero community on Codicact?

It could be quite complementary with this forum.

If it sounds interesting, I can start the community: Codidact has an "[incubator](https://proposals.codidact.com/help/proposals)" for creating new community easily.
  • I'm skeptical about moving people away from these forums, though. While, yes, the forum software isn't ideal, both the available community expertise and the ability to interact directly with developers is pretty invaluable. E.g., while there isn't a super active Zotero community on Reddit, we do on occasion get people here who have gotten incorrect or at least sub-optimal advice on Reddit.

And Zotero is, of course, significanly less complex (and with a narrower pool of 'deep' experts) than many of the topics on platforms like StackExchange.
  • Thank you very much for sharing your point! I find your arguments completely legitimate and I have nothing against them.

Also, I would like to add something in order to avoid misunderstandings (it has absolutely nothing to do with your comment, it's something I should have written directly in the first post: I know it can seem very annoying when someone from nowhere (not a big user of the forum) comes to give his opinion. But I don’t want to bother someone, it's just an idea because I like the Q&A format and the open source (so I like Codidact a lot;) and I thought naively that even the developers could find it of interest for them. But as I said I don't know anything about your problems here so I don't want to argue.

It's just an idea and if anyone thinks it might be useful I'd be happy to take care of it (I'd feel like I am participating a little in the project).
