Zotero mobile - New feature, enable Dropbox as "Base Directory"

In the mobile version (mobile and pad), I would like to be able to select a specific folder in Dropbox as the base directory, in the same way as in the desktop version. This allows me to access the material I have stored "locally"/Dropbox folders on the PC. I have a lot of large files that will not be relevant to put directly in Zotero, as they are worked with from other apps.

    My understanding is that this is almost certainly not going to happen, I'm afraid

    Shame. Zotero is about taking back control on your data, and using clouding to store files is as close as we have from self-hosting, which is the key. Stripping us from this possibility really dents the libre aspect of Zotero.

    Zotero has always supported WebDav, including self hosted. The reason for not supporting linked files on iOS are technical.
