Possible to modify a numeric CSL style to roman numbers?

Hi, I'm wondering if there's an easy way of changing the numbers of a numeric CSL style to Roman? I mean, instead of [1–3] for in-text citation, I have [i–iii]. The same goes for bibliography. It seems that the "citation-number" variable cannot take a "form='roman'" modifier.

    I don't think so, no.
    <number variable="citation-number" form="roman"/> should work, but doesn't appear to.

    No... I just tried <number variable="citation-number" too but indeed it didn't work. Thanks anyway.
