I'm unable to import files into Zotero that worked previously. I'm using Zotero standalone 6.0.23. The file I was trying to import is a RIS file; I had previously imported the same file successfully on 6/12/23, but now when I try to import it, I get the error: "An error occurred importing the selected file with "XML ContextObject". Please ensure that the file is valid and try again."
I tried resetting the translators as referenced in this post, but it didn't fix the issue: https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/105584/an-error-occurred-importing-the-selected-file-with-xml-contextobject

When I try to import files in other formats, including RIS and BibText, I get an error stating that it's not a supported file type.

    Start by upgrading to the latest version of Zotero. You're a few versions behind.

    If you're still having trouble, we'd want to see a Debug ID (different from a Report ID) for an import that fails.

    @erinl: It looks like a recent change broke importing in earlier Zotero 6 versions. We've pushed out a fix, so if you haven't yet upgraded, your Zotero should start working again, but you should still update to the current version of Zotero when you can. We can only ever provide support for the current version.
