Comments/annotation for bibliographies in Word

Hi - our organisation reports go through many iterations with authors wishing to comment on or annotate citations/bibliography lists generated by Zotero. However the Zotero 'fields' created in Word prevent it. Is there a way to do this?

You can:
1. Make a copy of your document
2. Unlink the citations so they become just text
3. Send that for commenting

That way you maintain your active citations in the original version, but allow reviewers to make comments.

That said, I don't see why you couldn't comment on citations with live Zotero fields. It'll attach the comment to the whole citation, but that seems fine? For the bibliography, that indeed won't work because that's one single block that the comment will attach to.
